About the guide

The Rocky's annual guide to summer camps consists of information provided by camp operators.

Most camps run June through August. If dates or costs aren't specified, contact the camp for details. Some camps offer scholarships.

You may check on a camp's quality and background with the American Camping Association, a nonprofit that accredits camps. To request a directory of accredited camps in Colorado and Wyoming, call 1-888-926-2267 or go to acarockymountain.org.
